Clean Terminals and Connections: Keep terminals, bus bars, and wire lugs clean and free from corrosion, dirt, or any buildup to minimize resistance between the DC terminal and cable connections.

Test Voltage and Capacity: Use a multimeter to test the voltage and internal resistance of each cell. For capacity testing, utilize a battery analyzer or specialized tester on each individual cell.
